Strata & Residential Drainage

Sewer & Stormwater Plumbing

A blocked or broken drain can bring a whole building to a halt. We look after sewer and stormwater systems for strata properties and homes across Sydney, from clearing blockages to relining and replacing failed pipes, and we keep the disruption to your residents as small as we can.

Our sewer and stormwater work

Drain problems rarely sort themselves out, and they usually cost more the longer they sit. We use in-pipe CCTV cameras to find what's actually going on, then clear, reline or replace the line so the same problem doesn't keep coming back.

Our plumbers are licensed and work to Sydney Water and Australian Standards. We give you a price before we start, and on strata jobs we put what we find in writing so owners and committees know where things stand.

Drainage in strata buildings

Shared drainage gets complicated fast. Multiple bathrooms, basement car parks and stormwater all feed into the same network, so when something fails it can affect more than one unit. We map the system, keep it maintained, and when there's a problem we isolate it quickly so the rest of the building keeps running.

We sort out access with your strata manager and residents, work around tenants, and hand over footage and a written report your committee can use for budgeting, decisions or an insurance claim.

Blocked and broken drains at home

Gurgling drains, a slow sink, smells in the yard or water pooling after rain usually mean your sewer or stormwater line needs a look. In older Sydney homes it's often tree roots or ageing earthenware pipes behind it.

Where we can, we reline the pipe from the inside instead of digging up your garden or driveway. It's quicker, makes less mess, and often costs less than a full dig.

How we get it sorted

Four steps, so you always know what's happening and what it'll cost.

1

Inspect

We run a CCTV camera down the line to see where the problem is and what's causing it, so we're not digging on a hunch.

2

Diagnose

We explain what we found, show you the footage if it helps, and give you a fixed price before any work starts.

3

Resolve

We jet the blockage, reline the pipe or replace the damaged section, whichever makes the most sense for the job.

4

Verify

A final camera check confirms it's clear, you get the report for your records, and the work is covered by our workmanship warranty.

Sewer & stormwater FAQs

Common questions from Sydney property owners and strata managers.

Gurgling sounds, water draining slowly across more than one fixture, smells, or water backing up usually point to a blockage building up. One slow sink is often a local issue, while several at once tends to mean something further down the main line. A quick camera inspection settles it.
Relining puts a new pipe inside the old one by curing a resin liner in place, so there's no need to dig. It's quicker, leaves your garden, driveway or car park alone, and the finished pipe has no joints for roots to get into. If a pipe has completely collapsed we may still need to excavate, and we'll let you know if that's the case.
It depends on whether the pipe is common property or sits within a lot. As a rule, shared sewer and stormwater mains are the owners corporation's responsibility and fixtures inside a unit are the owner's. Our reports show where the problem is and who's likely responsible, which makes it easier for your committee and strata manager to work out costs.
Yes. We provide written reports, CCTV footage and our recommendations, suitable for committee meetings, AGMs and insurance claims.
For overflowing or blocked drains we're available 24/7 across Sydney. For non-urgent work we'll book a time that suits the building or household, usually within a day or two.
