A leak you can't see can run up your water bill and damage your home for months. We use acoustic and thermal equipment to find hidden leaks fast and pinpoint them, so the repair stays small and targeted.
A damp patch that won't dry, a water bill that's crept up, or the sound of water running when every tap is off all point to a leak somewhere you can't see. Rather than opening up walls and floors hoping to find it, we use detection equipment to pinpoint it first.
That means less mess, a smaller repair and a quicker fix. We find most leaks behind tiles, under slabs or inside walls without any demolition just to go looking for them.
Acoustic equipment lets us hear water escaping a pressurised pipe, even through tiles, concrete or a wall cavity. Thermal imaging shows up the temperature difference a hot water leak leaves behind. Together they tell us where the leak is without us having to guess.
It's the difference between opening a 30cm patch right over the leak and pulling apart a whole bathroom hoping to stumble across it.
Leaks love the spots you can't see, under the slab, behind shower tiles, in wall cavities and out in the garden along the supply line. Often the only clues are a damp smell, a warm patch on the floor or a bill that doesn't add up.
We track these down with as little disruption as possible, then repair the leak once we know exactly where it is.
Four steps from first clue to a sorted repair.
We use acoustic gear and thermal imaging to read what's happening behind walls, floors and the slab.
We narrow it down to a specific spot rather than a general area, so the repair can be small and targeted.
We check our finding before opening anything up, so we're confident we've got the right spot first time.
We fix the leak, test it, and make sure there isn't a second one hiding nearby.
